Ally began her love of fitness and her career in the fitness industry as a martial arts instructor 12 years ago. Since then she moved into a head instructor and a business owner role of the Karate-Do Academy in Medicine Hat, which is celebrating its 25th year of teaching family karate. While attending University in Calgary, Ally worked for World Health as a receptionist, a fitness consultant, a promotions coordinator, and as a personal training. She began instructing fitness classes and training personal clients and small groups in Medicine Hat in 2012 and opened her own 24h fitness facility, Back Alley Fitness, shortly after.
The passion for health and fitness that was started at Back Alley has now spread to the community of Redcliff and Ally is excited to bring her education and expertise to the members of 24 Fitness Fix. She has a number of certifications in resistance training, kettlebells, olympic lifting, conditioning, and mobility. Ally is a certified online trainer who offers fitness and nutrition programs for those who want the expert programming, guidance and support of a trainer but are self sufficient in the gym on a day to day basis. Ally also offers rehabilitative treatments in Fascial Stretch Therapy and is one of only 4 certified therapists in Medicine Hat and area in this pain free therapeutic system. She is also a second degree black belt and a competitive international martial artist and powerlifter.

Colin started down the path of fitness about 14 years ago as a competitive Kickboxing athlete. Over the years he transitioned into more of a coaching position and then renewed his passion for fitness through personal training. Colin has been working in the industry for three years now with some of the best coaches and trainers in Canada. Colin is looking to bring this sort of expertise and level of development to Medicine Hat.
Colins training style comes from a very foundational perspective. If the foundation of movement; this being the muscles and joins are not working well together movement quality and lifestyle quality will be not be optimal. Colin has a keen eye for being able to spot and correct all the little things to help make you better.
